Caol Ruadh (pronounced ?col ru?) tucked away on the Kyles of Bute on Argyll?s secret coast, is an unique outdoor gallery promoting and selling contemporary sculpture created in Scotland and exhibits artist?s installation works.
Caol Ruadh is a statuesque late Victorian house (meaning ?red house on the narrows?), an unmissable landmark, on the Kyles of Bute in Scotland?s Argyll.
The 20 acre estate is a mixture of native woodland, creative landscaped gardens, wide open expanses with views over the Kyles and natural rugged rock formations. The frequent and fast changing weather pattern creates a rich palette of colours, moods and light.
The combination of land and weather gives Caol Ruadh its unique, dramatic backdrop for sculpture and outdoor art works.
