The Kames Hall Art Show celebrates its Ruby Anniversary this year. To celebrate, there are a few changes to the established format. In addition to the usual wide selection of new works from the many talented artists and photographers in the surrounding area, this year there will be a selection of older pre-owned works to peruse as we offer residents the opportunity to display for sale any good quality pictures and prints they no longer want to keep.
The 40th Annual Art & Photography Exhibition and Sale, ?Pictures Old and New?, opens on Friday 14th August at 7pm and runs until Sunday 16th at 5pm. In addition to the framed works on display, there is a selection of prints and cards on offer to suit a more modest budget.
The venue is the Kames Hall and Admission is £2.50. Visitors will receive a glass of wine or soft drink while stocks last. The Art Show is the main fundraising event that helps to keep the Hall going.
